Dunedin City Treasury Ltd. Selects Reval

Sydney, 21 June 2010 Reval announced today that Dunedin City Treasury, Ltd. has selected Reval’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Web-based solution to manage the treasury function of the Dunedin City Council Group.

“Reval enables us to perform and record all our treasury tasks with one system,” says DCT Chief Executive John Knight.  “We needed a system that allowed us to record investments and borrowings both short-term and long-term as well as one that enabled effectiveness testing and reporting for IAS 39 and IFRS 7. After evaluating many treasury systems, we chose Reval because of its robust performance and its proven use by a large community of reputable clients.”

Reval’s SaaS solution is used by over 400 multi-national organizations across the globe. It addresses the complex risk, valuation, and accounting requirements for management of interest rates, foreign exchange and commodities in front, middle and back offices.

“Dunedin City Treasury is a small, but sophisticated, treasury group that understands the importance of investing in treasury best practices using proven Web-based technology,” says Tony Singleton, Managing Director of Asia-Pacific at Reval. “We are delighted to have another New Zealand organisation join our prominent global community of users.”
