Ledger
Reval provides a fully functional ledger system that properly accounts for all supported financial transactions. The ledger offers the ability to establish your own rules-based mappings that control how month-end closes and other accounting entries for financial instruments are posted to your accounting system. Our chart of accounts function provides you with the ability to designate specific type of entries and direct them to specific accounts. Once individual entries and balances are ready to be booked to your general ledger, Reval provides a fail-safe process that allows you to validate entries before closing your books. Reval supports actual accounting periods and allows for adjustments to be posted to the current period once the prior periods have been closed. All Reval ledger functions are modifiable and fully integrated to maximize their utility to clients.
Audit Controls
Reval assists clients in their efforts to comply with the risk and control requirements established by regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley. Specifically, we provide a fully customizable workflow manager that delineates and documents authorization requirements throughout the transaction life cycle. Additionally, Reval offers customizable user roles & rights, data access rights, and standard audit reporting.
