2003 General Motors CIO Supplier Award – FAS 133

Reval’s win of the GM CIO Supplier Award began with the rumored reputation of systems suppliers: suppliers never deliver on time, suppliers never deliver what they say they will deliver, and the final cost is always more expensive than the supplier’s initial quote. After building a specialized commodities module for GM, Reval was singled out amongst all suppliers and commended by the CIO of GM for their transformation of this reputation by delivering ahead of schedule, delivering the functionality it had agreed to deliver, and offering final costs that were less expensive than initially quoted.
